Mary’s Meals feeds a child at school in Malawi for a year for £7 !

July 15th, 2010

Hi everyone! What did you spend £7 on this week… Two pints? Three lattes? A newspaper a day for a week? Next week we’re challenging our friends, family and colleagues to do something different with that £7: feed one child for a whole year! Yes unbelievably Mary’s Meals, a UK charity, will feed one child for a whole year for just £7 – check out the video below and see for yourself! There are 1000 children at the school – and just this morning we’ve raised enough money to feed 26 of them – could you help us spread the word so that we can feed them all – Mary’s Meals will send everyone who donates a picture of the kids. Thank you very much :^) Mary’s Meals on See The Difference

Welcome to the MyPartTimeJob blog!

September 5th, 2008

We’ve been up and running for six months now so it’s high time we got blogging - really to provide a platform for new sources of info regarding local part time jobs - We’re thinking that maybe MyPartTimeJobbers can share their knowledge of local companies who are recruiting at the moment - even if their jobs aren’t yet listed on MyPartTimeJob!

Other themes might be recommendations of local facilities for childcare or any other topics surrounding flexible working and how we can make people’s lives that little bit easier in these challenging times!

Alternatively, it may be that you want to know what is involved in doing a certain type of job? Well this is the place to ask advice from others who have had experience of that type of work - or what the public transport links are like in a particular part of the country? - hopefully these types of questions can be answered here!

Look forward to hearing from you and as ever, good luck with your part time job search!
